MEET JILL
Jill Wolfe is a proven business leader, dedicated community volunteer, healthcare professional, and loving wife and mother committed to advancing academic opportunities in Nebraska universities.
A first-generation college graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Jill began her career serving others in the healthcare industry. Working as a dietitian at St Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City and then Columbus Community Hospital, she assisted patients with outpatient education, taught nutrition classes, and consulted with rural hospitals to improve care for Nebraskans.
In 1987, Jill and her husband, Kim, founded Midwest Medical Transport Company (MMTC). Jill oversaw all operations of the business. Jill attended paramedic school, spent evenings responding to emergency calls, worked nights dispatching ambulances, and managed the business’ financials.
Through MMTC, Jill and Kim provided life-saving care to rural Nebraskans, created jobs, and continually gave back to Nebraska communities. They launched the “Home for the Holidays” program, which provided transportation for nursing home senior citizens to return home to their families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In 2014, the University of Nebraska honored Jill and Kim with the prestigious Clarence E. Swanson Memorial Award for their service to Nebraskans.
Jill served on the Columbus Planning and Zoning Board, where she was elected chairwoman. During her tenure, she fought to end government overreach and represented the concerns of local Nebraskans.
Jill is the proud mother of three adult children and five grandchildren. Jill and her husband, Kim, call Elkhorn home, where they attend Lifegate Church, remain active in their community, and committed to strengthening Nebraska’s future.
I’m a mom, a business owner, and a first-generation college grad who has never been afraid to do the hard work. I’m running to make sure the University of Nebraska is a good steward of our tax dollars and helps the next generation meet their potential."

WHAT JILL BELIEVES IN
REAL LEARNING, NOT INDOCTRINATION
Nebraska’s universities should teach students how to think, not what to think—and prepare them to succeed in the real world. As a lifelong conservative, Jill’s committed to defending academic freedom, students’ rights, and stopping political agendas from taking over the classroom.
KEEPING NEBRASKA’S BEST & BRIGHTEST HERE
Brain Drain is real. Jill will push the university to recruit top talent and keep Nebraska’s best and brightest here after graduation.
SAFEGUARDING TAXPAYER DOLLARS
Jill built a business from the ground up. She knows how to run a budget, and she’ll fight rising tuition and protect taxpayers.
